Inventory Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Assistant. As an integral part of our operations, the Inventory Assistant will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient stock management, and supporting overall warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
• Perform regular inventory counts and audits to reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing inventory shipments.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock levels to the purchasing department.
• Collaborate with other team members to fulfill orders and maintain order accuracy.
• Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and identification of inventory items.
• Handle returns and exchanges, and update inventory accordingly.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Assist in the preparation of reports related to inventory performance and trends.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in inventory management is a plus.
• Proven experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following safety protocols and procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
