We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Assistant. As an integral part of our operations, the Inventory Assistant will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient stock management, and supporting overall warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
- Perform regular inventory counts and audits to reconcile discrepancies.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing inventory shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock levels to the purchasing department.
- Collaborate with other team members to fulfill orders and maintain order accuracy.
- Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and identification of inventory items.
- Handle returns and exchanges, and update inventory accordingly.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Assist in the preparation of reports related to inventory performance and trends.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in inventory management is a plus.
- Proven experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and procedures.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
