This position reports directly to the Hospitality Purchasing Supervisor
The Role: Inventory Assistant
The ideal candidate must feel comfortable setting our areas up for the first and last impression for our guests and members, possess excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills, and be able to own a variety of tasks at any given moment. As a new role opening a new location, the needs of the job will be ever changing. Successful candidates will be flexible, warm, professional, organized, detail oriented, discreet, and make the member or guest the top priority.
An Inventory Assistant is primarily responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of inventory processes and maintenance and secondarily responsible for the high functioning management of suite products and services before, during, and after a member’s use of PS.
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Move physical inventory in weights up to and exceeding 50 lbs
- Restock and keep storage areas organized and up to code
- Ensure safe and complete reception of vendor shipments
- Manage expenses and complete and submit monthly expense reports
- Maintain consistent counts of all storage areas
- Ensure Toast menus and functions are up to date
- Perform and support inventory counts
- Communicate with Purchasing Supervisor for items status and restocking needs
- Assess suites/Airfield Areas and account for used items, restock as needed
- Track inventory consumption using Toast
- Participate in Teams chats to create a seamless experience for each movement
- Strong communication on radio with different teams for different tasks
- Prepare suites for members arrival and continue to monitor all updates via teams, email, and radio communication
- Ensure all suites are at department standards for every movement
Required Qualifications
- Experience working around confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience in a customer service, airline and/or hospitality industry related role.
- Minimum education requirement of High school Diploma/GED
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening + background check
- Collection of SSN as part of the background check process will be required
- Ability to focus attention on member needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
- PS is a 24 hour facility and as such we require fully open schedule availability and flexibility for all positions within our operations departments
