Job Summary: Inventor Drafter needed to utilize Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD in the creation of 3D models and diagrams for custom machinery, with a focus on mechanical design aspects.
Requirements:
Associate's Degree in Drafting or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks or similar 3D software.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Experience with mechanical drafting; pipe drafting experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Use Autodesk Inventor to generate 3D models and general layouts of custom machinery.
Use AutoCAD to create functional piping and instrument diagrams.
Handle all mechanical design aspects of products based on industrial design and other requirements.
Review scope of design with Project Engineer.
Prepare necessary documentation for fabrication.
Structural frame design, piping weldments, and limited sheet metal design.
Preferred Skills:
3D CAD experience with Inventor is a plus.
Ability to work at drafter level (not designer or engineer).
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
