International Student Exchange Program Coordinator - North Carolina

Job description

This is a contract, remote role for an Area Coordinator position. We are looking for a self-motivated, outgoing, reliable, and diverse individual residing in Connecticut Search Results. Daily tasks will include recruiting and training a team of local Area Representatives to serve as mentors to the students. Recruit host families and ensure proper screening is completed. Initiate and maintain contact with the local high schools that the students attend. The Area Coordinator is responsible for supervising high school age students and ensuring program compliance is maintained and documented by the Area Reps throughout the duration of the students' stay in the US.

Qualifications

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Experience working with young people or working in an educational setting

· Strong organizational and time management abilities

· Experience in the marketing field, promotion on FB, email marketing, etc

· Computer literacy

· Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach

· Ability to travel within the region as needed

You will receive training and ongoing support from your ASSE Regional Director and the full ASSE team. You are also able to work the position from your own home.

The Area Coordinator position is a part-time, stipend-paid position. Preference is given to those with experience working with youth and/or experience with Exchange Programs.
