Job Description
This is a full-time professional position responsible for managing international sales and Business Development to drive profitable growth of the company's branded and private label retail products globally. This role is a key hub between international customers, distributor and broker partners, and Sun-Maid's cross-functional teams. This individual reports to the VP of International Retail Sales.
Primary Responsibilities
• Collaborate with international distributor partners to identify new profitable growth opportunities through distribution expansion, new channel coverage, innovation & assortment expansion, and sales rate acceleration.
• Analyze business performance to identify trends at the product level and develop/execute strategies to optimize portfolio performance.
• Identify new geographic market opportunities and conduct due diligence to select best product-market fit and optimize go-to-market strategies based on multiple variables, including population size, GDP/Capita, retail & competitive landscape, incumbent competitive brands, FX dynamics, tariff and non-tariff barriers to trade, regulatory restrictions, and others.
• Lead new product development, commercialization and project management, and pricing strategy. Collaborate with marketing, Operations, R&D, and international partners to identify and drive innovation opportunities in key markets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, to develop annual financial plans, marketing and trade plans.
• Manage Demand Planning and 90-day rolling forecasts for each market, in collaboration with global distributor partners and internal cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with internal CSR and Sales Ops teams on all aspects of order receipt and fulfillment.
• Potential future support of other business segments, including Foodservice/Licensing/ Industrial
Requirements
Job Qualifications
• Three to five years of CPG sales experience, preferably international sales
• Experience in project management, product development & commercialization
• Strong analytical skills. Experience reading and working with P&L's
• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Moderate travel is required\
Education & Training
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business preferred
