Internal Medicine Medical AssistantRequirements:
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Internal Medicine
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or relevant certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- CPR certification (preferred)
Internal Medicine Medical AssistantResponsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in patient examinations and procedures
- Record and maintain accurate patient medical histories and vital signs
- Administer injections and medications under supervision
- Prepare patients for tests, procedures, and other medical treatments
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups
- Perform routine laboratory tests and manage laboratory orders
- Maintain a clean and organized medical environment
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care
