Responsibilities:
The University of Kansas Cancer Center (KUCC) is seeking to recruit a full time academic clinical physician with demonstrated interest in Myeloma. This candidate will support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care, as well as satisfying teaching, research, and academic responsibilities at the region's quaternary referral center.
About the Position:
This candidate will provide medical care to Myeloma patients in an outpatient clinic and will share in the rotation of Myeloma services, which will include weekends and consult coverage.
On a routine basis, this candidate will train and educate medical students, residents, and fellows in patient care settings and in formal and informal group education formats.
Additionally, this candidate will provide support for the growth and development of Multidisciplinary Hematology/Myeloma teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine; Board Certified/Eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology.
