INTERNAL MEDICINE HOSPITALIST JOB DESCRIPTION HIGHLIGHTS We are looking for a full time Internal Medicine Hospitalist Physician interested in building a rehabilitation practice and growing with the community. The hospitalist will round and consult on rehabilitation patients in the hospital and collaboratively work with PM&R and other supporting physicians. This opportunity has a great financial package available including generous income guarantee and full relocation. WHERE YOU WILL PRACTICE – CHARLESTON, SC Charleston is a stunning and picturesque location where it houses world-class golf courses and is known for its coastal beauty. Charleston features numerous restaurants and boutiques. Build sandcastles and splash in the waves on one of the top 10 family beaches in the United States. PRACTICE MODEL Physician will establish a private practice to include a caseload of medically complex inpatient rehabilitation patients. The Physiatrist will set up a relationship with an independent billing company and retain 100% of his/her own billing and collections. Encompass Health has its own well-trained outreach teams that identify appropriate inpatient rehabilitation candidates from surrounding areas.
