What you’ll do:
In this newly created role due to growth, you’ll build our Internal Communications and Engagement capability across Spire and our practices. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and execute communications strategies that drive employee engagement and strengthen our culture. In this role you will collaborate across the organization to have a significant impact on our most important resource, our people.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Design and execute an innovative Internal Communications strategy with an employee experience lens supporting diverse stakeholders including employees, providers, physicians, and leadership
- Develop creative ways to engage our workforce, a significant portion of whom do not spend most of their day in front of their computer as they are caring for our patients
- Create and manage an Internal Communications calendar encompassing both MSO and practice level communications showcasing new initiatives, annual processes, community events, etc.
- Draft/edit internal announcements and content while ensuring alignment with broader external communications as appropriate
- Define performance metrics and measures to evaluate the success of specific content, initiatives, and communication channels
- In collaboration with Human Resources and leadership, help identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience and drive employee engagement
- Support the HR team on all candidate and employee communications related to open positions, new initiatives, policies, and benefits
- Support integration communications throughout M&A processes
- Partner with Information Technology to manage and enhance relevant Spire intranet sites
Who you are:
Qualifications:
- BA/BS strongly preferred
- Minimum five years’ experience working in communications, public relations, or related field; experience in a healthcare MSO setting a plus
- Strong technical skills (MS Office, SharePoint) and design skills (Canva, Adobe)
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with a journalistic ability to extract compelling stories from employees, providers, and leaders across the organization
- Proven interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills working with c-suite and all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality, and independent judgment with the ability to use compassion and diplomacy
- Prior experience and interest in building functional processes and establishing new organizational capabilities
- Strong attention to detail, process, and project management skills
- Ability to work in and appreciation for a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to travel up to 25% to our corporate and practice locations across the Northeast
