Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains and prepares timely and accurate financial reports.
- Monitors and balances funds, budgets, and accounts.
- Analyzes financial data and resolves potential discrepancies.
- Assists departments with accounting procedures and compliance issues.
- Reviews contracts for compliance.
- Approves check requests and requisitions.
- Accumulates requested documents and information for outside auditors.
- Performs all other related duties involved in the operation of the department as assigned or required.
Minimum Requirements
TO APPLY, must have aBachelor's degree or higher in Business; accounting degree preferred.
TO APPLY, must have Two (2) full-time years of accounting or auditing work experience.
Ability to collect and analyze financial data and draw logical conclusions.
Ability to recognize risks and communicate those risks to management for action.
Ability to make decisions based on relevant criteria.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient use of spreadsheets and word processing.
Grant experience preferred.
