- Job Summary
- As an Internal Agency MRI/XR Technologist, you will respond to department critical coverage needs throughout the system for both MRI and Diagnostic Xray modalities. You will get to use your competency in each modality through this position that requires versatility to cover any need throughout system Radiology MRI and Xray departments. Enjoy helping patients by performing Diagnostic Xray and MRI procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology, maintaining high quality imaging and patient welfare as your top priority. You will also support didactic training of radiology students through demonstration and constructive guidance, operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner(s) within all guidelines of MRI safety, demonstrate a thorough understanding of MRI safety zones and practicing all safety guidelines, interview/screen patients for appropriateness of exam and patient history and document such accurately, explain MRI procedures to patient/family for ultimate success of exam, administer appropriate contrast media intravenously, and accurately evaluate images to ensure quality and diagnostic status of exam.

Education
- Required: Graduate of ARRT accredited program in Diagnostic Radiology and MRI
Experience
- Preferred: 2 years experience as a Registered Technologist in both MRI and Diagnostic Xray
