Overview of Position:
We are looking for an Internal Accountant to serve as the link between the accounting team and client account managers. This role will be instrumental to keep on top of our clients' financials and allow our customer success team to focus on strong communications while the account managers focus on delivering advisement.
PT: 20 hours/week, may vary during peak teams or slower season. Hours may be flexible but general times must be communicated in advance so team is aware of when the resource is available.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Reviewing accounting requests
- Entering journal entries and transactions as needed
- Investigating discrepancies
- Providing support to account management team to complete end of year and end of month financial statements.
- Review balance sheet account reconciliations, revenue reports, and other accounting related reports to ensure accuracy at the end of each period, and make updates as needed.
- Provide support to the tax team on miscellaneous questions or needed updates that may arise during tax preparation.
- Additional projects may be assigned as relevant.
- B.S. or M.S. in Accounting or equivalent
- 3+ years of public accounting experience preferred but not required
- 3+ years of private industry experience preferred but not required
- CPA preferred but not required
- Excellent written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Well organized and strong attention to detail
- Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills
