Role
This role will be part of Crown Castles Network Safety Team which is responsible for Teammate and Contractor safety. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to promote and foster a strong safety culture, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement. The intern will assist in numerous safety initiatives, including but not limited to, incident investigations, Teammate safety training, Contractor Avetta compliance.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain safety reports.
- Assist in Incident investigations for Teammate and Contractor incidents.
- Create and distribute correspondence relevant to the team, project, or program (internal and external).
- Lead tracking of Personal Protective Equipment inventory, assignment, and inspections.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners to improve safety processes, systems, and methodology.

Education/Certifications
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited higher education institution with an expected graduation date between December 2024 and June 2026
- Preferred field(s) of study: EHS, Occupational Safety, Environmental Sciences
Experience/Minimum Requirements
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) from June 3 to August 9, 2024
- Authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time, regular basis without additional sponsorship
Reports to: Matthew Gladstone
Work Plans: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.
