SHRM's paid internship program enables students to participate in valuable real-world work experience through a variety of tailored assignments within their areas of interest and fields of study. Students will be tasked with different team specific projects, tasks, and participate in professional development projects and events to prepare them for their future careers.
This is a paid internship at a starting rate of $20.00/Hour.
This is a 10 week, summer internship from May 27, 2024 - August 1, 2024.

- Project manage digital and print projects to ensure materials delivered in a timely fashion.
- Assist in ensuring that projects and materials remain within budget
- Assist in facilitating all production works project an image reflective of SHRM's guiding principles and brand guidelines
- Suggest and create content for different project and initiatives
- Create processes to organize content available to marketing audience segments to use within collateral
- Carry out division-specific tasks/activities as assigned by the supervisor throughout the duration of the internship
- Manage deliverables and provide regular updates
- Field of study: pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or other related fields
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience

Work environment
- SHRM does operate under a hybrid work schedule and will require you to be in SHRM's headquarters in Alexandria, VA on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Mondays and Fridays will be working remotely.
