Intern for the Office ofthe CIO (Chief Information Officer)
Job Summary
As a participant in the Sorenson Internship Opportunity Program you will leverage your training and certification as part of a working team. You will do work that is critical to the success of the organization. A manager will guide, mentor and teach you some of the critical elements of your chosen career pathway. You will establish learning objectives that you will pursue as part of your work at Sorenson.
Experience/Education/Additional Info
Education: Certifications, Technical College, Trade School or currently attending college or recently graduated.
- 1 Year Business systems analysis (Preferred)
Duration: up to 6 months
Office Environment: 100% Remote
Pay: Between $20.00 - $35.00 per hour (Based on Experience, Education, and Location)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with process improvement team to catalogue and document standard operating procedures.
- Review workflow diagrams and policies throughout the company as well as key stakeholder and escalation processes to ensure completeness
- Document work intake and general flow of work through the system.
- Use flow charts, JIRA, and other document repositories.
- Work independently to create a library of processes and policies.
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility
- This position does not manage employees.

- Able to work independently and with a team as required
- Strong computer skills including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Punctual and reliable attendance.
- Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk and work with a computer for extended periods of time.
- Positive attitude, team player, good interpersonal communication skills and able to work across company departments.
