Intern, Financial Analyst

Primary Purpose of the Position:
Provides financial analysis & project support to the Beverage Packaging North & Central America Finance & Accounting teams over 10 - 12 weeks.
Essential Responsible Areas:

• Supporting project work in area of focus.
• Collecting, processing, and analyzing financial data from various sources, such as financial statements, market reports, industry publications, etc.
• Creating and/or leveraging financial models, forecasts, budgets, and reports to support business planning and decision making.
• Evaluating the financial performance, risk, and valuation of different projects, products, or investments.
• Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats for the business.
• Presenting and communicating the findings and recommendations to peers, leaders, and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Staying updated on the latest economic, financial, and industry trends and developments.

Position Requirements & Competencies:
Professional & Education Qualification

• Training in a related field usually acquired through college courses or work-related experience
• Job related experience for 0-1 years preferred
• Applicants must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university with Junior or Senior stannding and have an anticipated graduation date of no earlier than December 2024.

Skills

• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using various software tools and applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Qlik, etc.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial markets, and industry standards.

Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $24/hr - $26/hr
- Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) or more days per work week in Colorado (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).
- May be eligible for additional housing benefits
