Intern - Claims

This internship opportunity is based at our Home Office, Neenah, WI. This is a year-round internship with a minimum of 12 months. We have internship opportunities throughout the division in Property, Auto Physical Damage, Casualty, Medicare, Workers' Compensation, Subrogation and our Customer Service Team. Our ideal candidate shows an interest in the insurance industry and is pursuing a Bachelor's and/or Associate's Degree.
This is a year-round internship; during the school year, this position is part-time (approximately 15-20 hours per week) based on your class schedule and our company's business hours, which are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. During the summer and school breaks, the position may flex up to 40 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review daily reports to handle workflow processes
• Issue payments or bulk payments when needed
• Assist with large account reviews
• Assist with contents valuation
• Resolve expense reports to match receipts
• Prepare various reports by researching, collecting, analyzing, and summarizing research and project data
• Assist Claim Representatives with desk coverage
• Assist with the maintenance of training documents and department web page
• Gather information as requested for claims teams
• Other duties/projects as assigned

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Associate's degree
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills to handle and prioritize multiple responsibilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Initiative to independently take on new challenges frequently
• Ability to learn new skills quickly
