Intern Responsibilities

• Kemper interns will be exposed to the following concepts and experiences:
• Assist in identifying issues for the business using data analytics and inquiry,
• Gather and analyze facts to present in clear written reports,
• Increase your competency in the business, soft skills, or risk based on your development plan,
• Document processes using narratives or process flows if needed,
• Participate in relevant industry and professional associations.

Intern Requirements & Qualifications

• Junior or Senior status enrolled at: California State University, Clark Atlanta University, Florida International University, Harris-Stowe State University, Miles College, University of Texas Rio Grande Valley
• Qualifying majors in an academic area related to financial services or insurance industry, such as, finance, data analytics, communications, accounting, or business administration
• Non-business majors are welcome if strong interest in financial services and/or insurance industry
• A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to learn claims computer applications
• Good collaborative and relationship-building skills
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
• This position is a remote role

The hourly rate for this opportunity is $20.00/hour. Fall and Spring interns could be expected to work at least 20/hours per week. Interns are eligible for $2000 stipend.
