Form of work Nichols, Cauley & Associates, LLC, a growing CPA Firm with multiple offices throughout the State of Georgia, is searching for College Students interested completing an Accounting Internship Program with the firm for the Winter/Spring semester. Opportunities will include working in the areas of audit and/or tax and accounting services.
Our ideal candidate is/has:
- An accounting student who has made substantial progress toward obtaining an accounting degree
Has above average competency in accounting as demonstrated by their grade point average
A self-starter and can work effectively even when given minimal direction or formal training.
Able to demonstrate the ability to learn new processes and software and a willingness to
learn advanced computer skills in all Microsoft software programs and QuickBooks accounting software
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Job functions will include assisting accountants in the firm with preparation of:
Monthly/quarterly/annual accounting services for clients
Financial, audit and tax work papers to assist tax prepares and auditors
Various monthly, quarterly and annual business tax filings for clients
Income tax returns
