What You'll Learn

Project:

  • PLL circuit and system development for wireless and wireline application

Skills You'll Learn:

  • Familiarity with Samsung process technology and analog circuit design and verification flow.
  • Understand circuit design considerations to improve PLL performance

What You'll Do

  • Design PLL circuit building blocks such as VCO, CP, LO gen, etc
  • Build behavioral model to drive architecture decision and circuit requirements.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our headquarters in San Jose,CA office 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time

What You Bring

  • Currently enrolled In a PhD Degree program in the following fields: Electrical Engineering or Microelectronics (Required).
  • Have the basic knowledge on PLL system and major circuit building blocks, such as, oscillators, analog or digital phase detector, regulators, ADC/DAC (Required)
  • Good knowledge on IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, SpectreRF, AMS simulator, Matlab (Required)
  • A good understanding of the physical layout requirement and ability to perform the critical layouts (Required)
  • Motivated to carry out a wide variety of tasks with clear communication and presentation skills in a dynamic team environment (Required)
  • Experience with PLL system and critical circuit building block design in CMOS technology (Preferred)
  • Experience with Python and RTL coding, SystemVerilog coding and modeling (Preferred)

Hourly Base Pay Rate
$27—$57 USD
