Job Summary
The 3D Systems team in Littleton, Colorado is seeking a skilled Program Manager with experience leading multifunction projects and to a strong technical competence, to support ongoing production process and product onboarding. This role will be within the Healthcare business unit under the direction of the Manager of Product Development.
The focus of this role will be the expansion of patient-specific and stock medical device manufacturing at multiple site locations. This role will work in a cross-functional team to achieve project milestones. The patient-specific medical device includes digital workflows alongside additive manufacturing and post-processing process streams.
The Intermediate Program Manager will be responsible for program coordination, customer interface, manufacturing process improvements, technology transfer to and from an international partner location, and developing scalable additive manufacturing procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project (portfolio) management throughout life of project(s), including regular reporting to leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure on time execution of the projects, within scope and budget
• Participate in and lead customer project meetings and assist in translating and understanding process, part, project, and quality requirements
• Act as the primary technical resource on the technology transfer and validation of additive manufacturing and subtractive manufacturing.
• Fact-finding - Identify and analyze current operational methods.
• Selection/Design - Select (or design, if necessary) appropriate manufacturing methods. Participate in customer meetings as necessary to gain approval of new designs and agree on required testing.
• Work with suppliers to scope new equipment purchases and installation procedures.
• Verification and Validation (V&V) - Write and execute V&V test protocols and final reports.
• Communicate final technical reports to customers and gain approval.
• Implement new operational solutions, including preparation of new visual Work Instructions, executing Change Orders to update internal procedures and Work Instructions, and subsequent training of internal personnel as necessary.
• Follow 3D Systems design control procedures throughout the project.
• Participate in internal project reviews at critical milestones with key stakeholders.
• Operate with a defined project plan and schedule throughout the duration of the project.
• Participating in the compilation and review of technical documentation for both domestic and international regulatory submissions.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Relevant project management degree or certification required or the suitable combination of education skills and experience.
• Experience with additive manufacturing in a production environment required.
• 2-4 years of experience supporting manufacturing operations, preferably in the medical device industry under FDA/ISO 13485 design controls. Candidates should be comfortable working in the methodical, structured, and well-documented manner expected in a highly regulated industry.
• Solid understanding and background in core manufacturing engineering fundamentals, such as process development, light design work, data analysis, statistics, testing/inspection, supplier interaction, structured problem-solving tools, change control, and process validation.
• Experience with SLA, SLS, DMP, and other additive manufacturing methods.
• Experience conducting and reporting V&V activities.
• Experience in a quality function, specifically inspection methods would be a plus.
• Experience with CNC operation/anodization/cleaning/sterilization would be a plus.
• A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
Compensation and Benefits
• Salary Range: $85,000 - $102,600 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data)
• In addition to a salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based upon company performance.
