Deliver items to and from destinations as needed throughout the facility and at times to pick up items from Perryville, MO or St. Louis area. Parts room responsibilities will be to pull items from stock and deliver to specified areas, check inventory, stock shelves with parts, check for proper labeling, expiration dates, ordering parts, Keep parts room clean and surrounding area, Etc. Working with Corridor and email is a daily function along with delivering and picking up items as needed. Items range from hardware to extravagant monuments from aircraft. Attention to detail and safely handling all items is a must to protect customer equipment and monuments from damage. Must be able to lift and carry heavier items and know when to ask for help. Communication is key to being efficient and getting parts to areas specified by lead or supervisor in a timely manner without damage.
You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including:
- Performing general mechanical items on aircraft interiors and related systems.
- Performing minor modifications with minimal direction.
- Performing daily turnover sheets, work order processes and weight and balance data.
- Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling
- Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance data bases
- Cleanliness of shop and surroundings
- Work independently when required
- Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English
- Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Your Education:
A High school diploma or equivalent. Avalid driver's license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not required
Your Experience :
Technician I: 0-2 years' experience in carpet/flooring installation, general contracting projects, construction or other similar trades. .
Technician II: 2-5 years' experience in wood finishing processes on aircraft.
Technician III: 5+ years' experience in wood finishing processes on aircraft

Your Sense of Responsibility:
Attend work every day as scheduled to include overtime and weekend assignments.
Notify supervisor in advance of shift starting if unable to work.
Must have reliable transportation to get to work each and every day.
Perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties.
Maintain customer oriented work habits.
Assist in major modification work as needed
Other particulars:
Physical Requirements
Lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
Routine walking, bending and squatting or sitting.
Routing or repetitive physical motion with arms and hands with emphasis on grasping, feeling and finger dexterity.
Standing for long periods of time.
Climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas
Mental Requirements
Understanding and implementation of regulations and guidelines including but not limited to OSHA, Hazmat, etc.
Work with others in a professional manner.
Plan and organize procedures and operations
Read various reports and blue prints.
Supervision
Work under supervision of assigned Team Leader and Interior Management
May be directed to supervise other technicians in some capacity.
Work with minimal supervision when required
Working Conditions
The majority of work will be performed in a hangar or shop environment
Work outside on the ramp on occasion
Varied positions in and around the aircraft.
Equipment Used
Personal hand tools supplied by the mechanic.
Electrical power tools such as sanders, saws, power drills, etc.
Sheet metal cutters, glue guns, and metal benders
Tugs, power carts and other engine powered equipment.
Spray booth and all related equipment.
