Position Overview:
We are seeking talented and creative Interior Designers to join our team. In this role, the Interior Designer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of the project's interior design elements. This involves employing a range of techniques including visioning, creativity, storytelling, animations, and renderings, as well as managing programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding and negotiation, and construction administration. Additionally, the Interior Designer will engage in collaborative efforts with product vendors and industry experts to remain up to date on the latest trends and materials in the field.
Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; In-Office/Monday-Thursday; Work-From-Home/Friday
Pay: Negotiable BOE + Bi-annual bonus opportunities + excellent benefits (This is a Direct Hire position)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, requirements, and budget constraints.
- Create design concepts and present them to clients for approval
- Stay abreast of current trends by collaborating with vendors and industry leaders
- Develop detailed plans, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting fixtures, and accessories
- Coordinate with contractors and other professionals to ensure the successful implementation of designs
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Knowledge of Revit, Adobe, Lumion, and Enscape software
- Experience working in K-12 and higher educational facilities and municipal facilities is preferred
- Good team-building, problem-solving, communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Open-minded and willing to learn.

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from an accredited institution
- Open to entry-level and experienced designers
