Interior Designer/ Design Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our award-winning team in designing luxury outdoor living spaces. We will train you to learn our process and you will have a team supporting you as you learn. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and the ability to create functional and beautiful spaces that meet our clients' needs. The Design Specialist is a key member of the Project Development team who works with clients to refine the design details in the scope of work and sells additional design features and upgrades. Responsibilities:

· Meet with clients to determine their design preferences, budget, and timeline, typically virtual.

· Develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval.

· Create detailed design concepts, including lighting design, for each project.

· Work with our internal production team to ensure designs are implemented correctly.

· Design outdoor kitchens and provide detailed shop drawings.

· Provide exceptional customer service throughout the design process.

Skills:

· Proficiency in design software e.g. Chief Architect, AutoCAD, or comparable 2D/3D design software and drafting.

· Strong knowledge of design principles and techniques

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· Ability to read architectural plans.

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

· Experience in sales and contract negotiation.

· Strong time-management skills and manage priorities and deadlines.

· Working knowledge of kitchen design and appliances

Pay: $63,397.00 - $75,000.00 per year
