Form of work One of our leading non-profit clients in the Los Angeles area is seeking a Controller on project/temporary basis. Full time hours, Monday through Friday, for 2-4+ months. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $70 to $80 per hour.
Job Duties: month end close; prepare and post journal entries, account/bank reconciliations; financial reports; oversee day to day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable; payroll; and general ledger maintenance; 990 filings; and assist with A-133 audit compliance.
Qualifications: BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven experience - 7+ years hands on non-profit accounting experience
Advanced MS Excel skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
