Client Services Responsibilities
- To Coordinate and ensure follow through of Individual, Family and Group Therapy.
- To develop strong, supportive relationships with the clients and homes.
- To interact with clients in order to assess needs, provide information, discuss problems, set limits and encourage growth and development.
- To monitor clients progress.
- To provide crisis intervention.
- To provide oversight of clients expenses.
- To notify Director of IFC immediately in the event of crisis, suspected illegal activity, or any behavior constituting an incident in the Program.
- To be responsible for rotating after hours on-call coverage.
- To perform client case management, including client treatment plan development and discharge summaries.
- To perform other duties as assigned by the Director of IFC.
- To carry a full-time caseload of 8 clients
Administrative Responsibilities/Record Keeping
- To attend Clinical Team Meetings and DCF Meetings and IEP Meetings.
- To maintain program materials in adherence with state license and regulations.
- To maintain standards and records in order to comply with all funding Agency requirements for program data.
- To maintain program material in adherence with state license and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required. M.S.W., M.A., or M.S., desired.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Human Services working with troubled adolescents and their families.
- Must obtain License in Social Work with in the first 6 months of employment
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative, creative, analytical and decisive in problem solving.
- Demonstrated ability to work with other community agencies (i.e. School Dept., DCF, Juvenile Court, etc.).
- Exceptional demonstrated writing and organizational skills.
- Exceptional demonstrated interpersonal skills.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Must meet Agency requirements for driving history records
Working Conditions
- Unless otherwise specified, this position is a 40 hour a week position, five (5), eight (8) hour days. This position is required to be available to the 24 hour nature according to Program needs. Working conditions also include minimal travel between program sites and office location, to and from scheduled appointments, etc. This job at times entails going into high crime neighborhoods. This position involves being exposed to at risk populations
Program Factors
- To be flexible in accommodating forty (40) hours of work per week in order to adapt to the hours required for the program’s operation as planned and requested by the Director of IFC.
- To adhere to program and agency policies and procedures.
- To attend all staff meetings and all trainings as required.
- To work closely with other staff to better coordinate and service the consumer.
- To represent the Agency in a professional manner.
To seek and uses management staff for training and supervision
