Intensive Foster Care Provider | Adolescent and Family Services

As an Intensive Foster Care Provider, you will be compensated with an enhanced monthly tax-free stipend. The monthly stipend amount varies depending on the level of need required for the young person you are supporting. The young person supported pays their personal expenses. In addition, the youth will be provided enhanced support services to ensure successful placement as needed.
Gandara provides all Intensive Foster Care Providers with ongoing training and support to ensure they have the expertise, skills, and resources available to provide excellent care. Gandara will also provide monthly in-house visits as well as 24-hour emergency on-call assistance.
Requirements
- Commitment to individual empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration.
- Familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems.
- At least two years’ experience in human services (preferred). Special consideration given to candidates who have worked with a population identifying as non-binary.
- Supervisory experience (preferred).
- Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (preferred). Lived experience can be substituted.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable car available for working hours (required).
- Ability to provide a first floor separate bedroom to the youth supported.
- Handicapped accessibility to the home, or the capacity to convert the space to meet all ADA standards. The cost of any conversions would be covered by the agency.
- Pass a standard CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) and Fingerprinting check
