We are seeking an intern to join our IP Department. The intern will get good exposure to IP work at a biotech company by working with the patent attorney reviewing IP landscape, analyzing company inventions, preparing patent applications, and responding to patent examiners
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct IP landscape research
- Assist with preparing patent applications
- Assist with reviewing and responding to US and foreign patent examiner communications
Qualifications:
- Good understanding of basic molecular and cell biology (completed some advanced molecular biology courses)
- Good understanding of Caribou's technology
- Interest in IP
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
Nice-to-haves:
- BS degree
- PhD candidate
- JD candidate
Caribou compensation and benefits include:
- Stipend: $4,500 - $5,500, monthly (DOE)
