Required Skills
- Completion of a Clinical Pharmacy Residency (PGY1 minimum).
- Specialized experience in General Pediatrics, NICU, or PICU.
- Proven acute care inpatient pediatric experience.
- Active Texas Pharmacy license, or initiation of the reciprocity process if relocating.
Job Description
The Integrated Pharmacist will be an integral part of our NICU pharmacy team, requiring related Pediatrics-Critical Care experience. Responsibilities include:
- Filling and labeling prescriptions, providing drug-related information and education.
- Dispensing controlled substances and maintaining inventory records.
- Supervising pharmacy technical staff and mentoring pharmacists, students, or residents.
- Participating in Medication Use Evaluation and Process Improvement Programs.
- Maintaining medication profiles and reviewing for drug-related problems.
- Performing clinical interventions and documenting them.
- Ensuring adherence to all policies and standards, focusing on safe care for patients, staff, and visitors.
Other Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Pharmacy Sterile Product certification for those compounding sterile products.
- Minimum two (2) years of hospital Pharmacist experience, with knowledge of unit dose medication and I.V. admixture processes.

Pay: $133,000.00 - $142,000.00 per year
