We are currently seeking an Integrated Pharmacist, PGY 1 to join the dynamic team at our client's facility. Required Skills

• Completion of a Clinical Pharmacy Residency (PGY1 minimum).
• Specialized experience in General Pediatrics, NICU, or PICU.
• Proven acute care inpatient pediatric experience.
• Active Texas Pharmacy license, or initiation of the reciprocity process if relocating.

Job Description

The Integrated Pharmacist will be an integral part of our NICU pharmacy team, requiring related Pediatrics-Critical Care experience. Responsibilities include:

• Filling and labeling prescriptions, providing drug-related information and education.
• Dispensing controlled substances and maintaining inventory records.
• Supervising pharmacy technical staff and mentoring pharmacists, students, or residents.
• Participating in Medication Use Evaluation and Process Improvement Programs.
• Maintaining medication profiles and reviewing for drug-related problems.
• Performing clinical interventions and documenting them.
• Ensuring adherence to all policies and standards, focusing on safe care for patients, staff, and visitors.

Other Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Pharmacy Sterile Product certification for those compounding sterile products.
• Minimum two (2) years of hospital Pharmacist experience, with knowledge of unit dose medication and I.V. admixture processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $133,000.00 - $142,000.00 per year
