Role Description:

 

The CX Integrated Marketing Manager for CX Cross Portfolio Solutions (IMM), is responsible for delivering fully Integrated Marketing plans, in partnership with Product Marketing, SAP’s Global Demand Center of Excellence, Corporate Comms, Digital Product Experience and regional Field Marketing.  The IMM is the primary interface on behalf of the Marketing and Solutions organization (M&S), tasked with translating deep knowledge of the audience, product and go-to-market strategy into clear marketing objectives, strategies, tactics and success measures which ensure the performance of brand awareness and audience acquisition programs.  Our ideal candidate focuses on a data driven approach, using analytics and performance metrics to drive marketing optimization and top line results.

 

Key responsibilities of the Cross Portfolio SolutionsIntegrated Marketing Communications Manager:

  • Audience and product area knowledge base
    • Develop deep knowledge of line of business audiences, influencers and CX solutions, work with Product Marketing to articulate accurate and actionable personas to inform marketing targeting, messaging, tactics, and media strategies.
    • Ability to lead cross-Portfolio Solutions messaging and content in relation with go-to-market industries – B2B and B2C.
    • Represent the voice of the customer and act as first-line expert for audience knowledge needs across other marketing functions, bringing in additional subject matter experts from the Product Marketing, Industry experts, Global Demand Center and GTM teams as necessary
    • Engage with stakeholders across Industry and CX Portfolio Marketing to manage day-to-day content updates and quarterly content refreshes to I&CX global webpages.
    • Collaborate with I&CX Digital Engagement and I&CX Digital Experience Pod on strategic projects and execute recommendations for I&CX digital properties.
    • Work with operations and analytics leads to consolidate budget requirements in MSRC for the team.

 

  • Integrated marketing plan development, delivery, and optimization
    • Articulate business goals, go-to-market priorities, competitive insights, and audience requirements as part of the marketing briefing process.
    • Work in collaboration with Product Marketing to articulate the buyer’s journey and associated content needs. Project manage the development of core content including promotional offers, tools and thought leadership assets.
    • Work in partnership with corporate marketing teams to develop marketing strategies and tactics to acquire new customers (new to SAP, new to the solution from the CX install base, new to CX from among the SAP install base).  This includes AR, PR, .com, traditional and paid media, social, communities and events.
      • Define the program mix, content, and global campaign calendar.
      • Monitor results, collaborate on optimization tactics, and test and learn strategies to optimize campaign execution, including channels, messaging and audience targeting, based on progress against goals
      • Align strategies and pivot according to market conditions.  
    • Ensure that all program delivery timelines are met, creating transparency, and escalating where needed.
    • Perform competitive surveillance and deliver strategies to stand out

 

Experience & Skill Requirements 

 

The candidate should demonstrate the following abilities and experiences:

  • 5+ years Integrated Marketing experience.
  • Proven leadership, managerial and project management competencies
  • Knowledge of the CX portfolio and associated audiences, ability to understand business metrics associated with portfolio growth and marketing performance.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end demand funnel, from awareness to nurturing and evaluation phase
  • Hands-on experience of traditional, digital channels and always-on tactics, PR, AR and events.
  • Strong understanding of one-to-many account marketing strategies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, experience working with virtual team across multiple geographies (Regions and MUs)
  • Ability to collaborate across organizational cultures with multiple stakeholders, functions, and agendas

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 99,000-216,800 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
