Currently BASF is looking for Public Affairs & Communication ManagerBaltics to join their growing Baltic team.

Your role

• Plan and execute Baltic Public Affairs plan including corporate topics such as chemical strategy for sustainability, REACH, circular economy and other Green Deal dossiers;
• Build internal network with topic experts and other relevant colleagues;
• Build external network to relevant policy stakeholders (Chemical associations, National Authorities and Policy makers) to be able to present BASF policy positions;
• Establish overview of national Chemical policy process;
• Reach out to Members of European parliament when requested;
• Support Nordic/Baltic communications in positioning BASF as thought leader within their industry in sustainability, innovation and digitalisation;
• Support Baltic MD in Public Affairs matters;
• Be a member of the EMEA Public Affair and Communication network and Nordic/Baltic Public Affair and Communication team. Support the team in communication activities.

What is expected

• 3+ years' experience from a relevant position;
• University degree of political science, journalism, communication, law or chemistry;
• Fluent in Lithuanian and English languages;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Strong organizational awareness and time management skills;
• Networker with an outgoing personality, a high drive and eagerness to succeed.
