Responsibilities:
Create new orders for durable medical equipment.
Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information.
Answering phones, emails.
Provide excellent customer service and address patient concerns or questions.
Other duties as assigned and appropriate to the position.
Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Customer service: 1 year (Required).
Intermediate Knowledge of Microsoft office suite (MS word, Excel, Outlook) : 1 year (Required).
General Office Experience: 1 year (Required).
Medical insurance experience 1 year (Preferred).

PVG is a small business seeking an Intake Specialist to work in Sandy office. This position is responsible for organizing all incoming and outgoing information that pertains to business operations within the scope of patient care for DME Solutions. This person must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, multi-tasking and must work independently and as part of a team. Follows Medicare/Medicaid guidelines for all business operations. On-the-job training provided. We are looking for a person with the right attitude and work ethic in front of the experience. No Weekends. Flexible Schedule. Full time or Part time position available.
