Intake & Enrollment Specialists are the Front Desk professionals at our clinic, playing a crucial role in connecting individuals with the care they need. They welcome patients & visitors warmly, offering exceptional customer service as they guide them through the enrollment process. They contribute to a comfortable waiting room environment through assisting patients in accessing clinic services, navigating waitlist sign-ups, appointment reminders and addressing patient concerns while ensuring that patient data is accurate.

• Enjoy resolving issues and proactively identifying solutions to challenges
• Adjust on-the-fly to changing priorities and demands in a healthcare environment.
• Manage phone calls, appointments, and various administrative tasks proficiently
• Demonstrate habitual reliability & punctuality
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contributes to a positive team atmosphere in the clinic
• Are familiar with healthcare terms and processes, including health record systems & insurance (this is helpful, but prior experience is not required)

Fourth Street Clinic is here to provide services to vulnerable individuals and families, reducing barriers caused by social determinants of health. Fourth Street Clinic began in 1988 as a triage clinic with one part-time nurse, relying on hospital volunteers for patient treatment. Today, Fourth Street Clinic operates with a staff of nearly 100 individuals and an eight-figure annual budget. Last year, we provided comprehensive health care to 5,369 unsheltered individuals through more than 20,000 visits.
