Position Overview

The Intake Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient management of Aveanna Medical Solutions Intake team, supporting multiple Supervisors covering numerous markets.  This role requires a detailed understanding of all patient onboarding processes and policies for Aveanna Medical Solutions. The role drives results and financial targets by engaging staff, improving processes and optimizing technology. The Intake Manager works with the Leadership Team to develop, and champion integrated and innovative solutions, partners with other managers to coordinate best practices within AMS and maintains a high level of professionalism.

The starting pay for our Intake Manager is $70,000 per year. Essential Job Functions

• Manage the day-to-day progress of the Intake team including hiring, scheduling, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Develop goals and objectives for overall team and each individual team member, evaluates performance against goals, objectives, responsibilities and competencies.
• Responsible for creating, developing and maintaining efficient operational processes and systems that are aligned with the Company’s business objectives.
• Partners with Sales and Clinical departments to improve patient outcomes, enhance growth opportunities and minimize inefficiencies within Intake.
Responsible for the outcome of Intake and customer service.
• Ensures work being performed meets internal and external compliance requirements.
• Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease controllable NoGo’s, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer experience.
• Resolves patient/customer complaints by identifying problems and coordinating appropriate corrective action.
• Adhere to the Aveanna Compliance Program, including following all regulatory, Aveanna and accrediting agency policy requirements.
• Support the Aveanna mission and culture by demonstrating our core values; compassion, team integrity, accountability, trust, innovation compliance and fun.

• Strong communication skills both written and verbally.
• Some travel required as face to face time is essential to building the solid relationships needed.
Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or comparable industry experience
• Two years in a related Operations role; and 6 months working with healthcare insurance.
Preferences

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, marketing or a related discipline

• Five years in a related Operations role.  Knowledge of home health, DME and Enteral nutrition products.

Other Skills/Abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft suite of products including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with communications technologies.
• Understanding of copywriting, graphic design, layout, and publishing.
• Experience with search engine marketing, Google Analytics, and Google AdWords.
• Impeccable copywriting and copy-editing abilities.
• Strong leadership track record.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Must possess a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently at times and within a team.
• Ability to adapt to change.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to interact in a collaborative manner with other departments and teams.
