Salary: $20 - $24 per hour
Schedule: 20- 40 hours per week

DEPARTMENTBayaud Works-BEST is a Bayaud Enterprises Social Enterprise. Our Temporary Staffing Service works with Federal, State, as well as multiple City, County, and Private employers to help staff their open positions on an as needed basis. BEST was created to provide opportunities to individuals with barriers to employment. We have since evolved to include employer staffing and temporary positions for shelter services, grounds keeping, safety patrol, janitorial services, transportation, and delivery services, and many more.
POSITION SUMMARY
The goal of the Intake Coordinator is to handle all administrative functions of the Bayaud Works department. This includes processing receipts, keeping inventory, and processing purchase orders. This position is also responsible for administrative functions for all social enterprise contracts such as Recruiting, hiring, and new employee orientation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative support to Bayaud Works Director
- Provide administrative support to the Bayaud Works team
- Assist Bayaud Staff with all aspects of recruiting and hiring
- Hosts new employee orientation
- Works closely with HR to ensure new hire onboarding is completed
- Assists Bayaud Works Director with monthly client billing
- Processing credit card receipts
- Process check requests for all Bayaud Works staff
- Maintaining inventory for Bayaud Works
- Order and track all supplies for Bayaud Works
- Track all department expenditures
- Track documentation of credit card receipts for the department
- Train and assist temporary employees with Paycom completion, timekeeping, etc.
- Conducts initial intakes and needs assessments, quarterly re-assessments and data entry into the E-Logic database to ensure resource needs are identified, tracked and addressed.
- Oversee ELMO and all employee tracking of milestones
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- Provide excellent customer service
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Exceptional understanding of Microsoft 365 and its various programs.
- Understanding of QuickBooks is a plus.
- Creates and prints fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents when necessary.
- Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as data entry, filing, photocopying, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated lived and/or work experience with vulnerable populations
- Demonstrated experience with data collection, analysis and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to track and report on financial issues in a timely manner
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2 years of experience in an administrative position.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- A valid driver’s license. Must meet Motor Vehicle Requirements per Bayaud Enterprises insurance carrier, this is a condition of employment.
