Intake/Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the Intake/Admissions department. The RN promotes a therapeutic milieu and provides quality patient care. Collaborates with Clinical Services and other departments to accomplish the treatment goals of Turning Point. Our Intake/Admissions RNs work with potential patients, referral sources, and medical providers over the phone and with new patients in person.
- Processing patient admissions
- Patient assessments
- Review of patient records
- Obtaining admission approvals
This PRN position will cover the night shift from 7:00pm to 7:00am.

Qualifications
- Experience in substance abuse / mental health treatment, preferred.
- Understanding of commercial and Medicare insurances
- Knowledge of patient level of care requirements
- Licensed by the State of Georgia (good standing)
- BLS/CPR Certified
