Keystone Pediatric Developmental Center is seeking a FULL TIME Insurance Specialist to join the team.
This position is responsible for verifying insurance coverage and co-payments when referrals are made and prior to appointments. Completes and submits pre-authorization and re-authorization paperwork when required by insurance company. Performs duties under the supervision of the office manager.
Qualifications: Minimum high school graduate or GED. Demonstrated ability and experience communicating effectively with patients who have behavioral, cognitive, and physical problems. One to three years’ experience with health insurance preferred. Excellent interpersonal and phone skills.
Must have insurance authorization knowledge and medical office setting experience.
