Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors at the front desk
- Register patients and verify their insurance information
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate department
- Collect co-pays and payments for services rendered
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Assist with insurance verification and claims processing
- Provide administrative support to staff as needed
Skills:
- Proficient in dental terminology, coding
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and practices
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using office software and electronic medical record systems
This position requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, has excellent customer service skills, and can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a medical or dental office setting.
