At LCRA, we are seeking to hire an Instrumentation & Control Technician! At a senior level, this position is responsible for performing installation, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation, control equipment, monitoring equipment and related systems. You will be trusted to:
- Contain knowledge of wonder ware software and systems
- Monitor control systems and equipment's (e.g., distributed control systems, programmable logic
controllers)
- Test equipment specific to assigned area of responsibility
- Assemble and install of high pressure and temperature instrumentation
- Use of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic testing equipment and calibration
- Read and interpret diagrams and prints
You qualify with:
- Nine or more years' experience in installation, maintenance and/or repair of instrumentation, control equipment or monitoring equipment or relevant experience.
- Degree in electronics, instrumentation, SCADA, engineering technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Driver's license required if traveling to work at various locations.
