Job Description
MAIN DUTIES:
The Office Administration Instructor performs as an instructor in a regular vocational classroom setting, presenting instruction in business clerical and medical reception functions. They promote a positive atmosphere within the classroom setting that is conducive to optimal training, learning and motivation. They also demonstrate ongoing commitment to preparing students for the workforce by modeling, mentoring and monitoring excellence in the eight Career Success Standards of workplace relations and ethics, information management, communications, multicultural awareness, personal growth and development, career and personal planning, interpersonal skills, and independent living.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree in Business Education, Computer Technology or Vocational Business Education and three years experience in the field or two years experience as an instructor of business clerical subjects OR Associate Degree in Business Education, Computer Technology or Vocational Business Education and seven years experience in the field or six years experience as an instructor of business clerical subjects Minnesota Teaching Certificate preferred
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
$45,000 to $50,000 per year, plus 401(k), medical, dental, vision, STA, holidays and vacation
