Instructor Nursing Education - Maternal Child Health Services- Full Time Days

Join a patient focused tight-knit team of nurse educators led by a dynamic leader, responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs for nursing staff. These programs will cover all L&D programs. We are looking for a nurse educator who can drive our amazing nursing teams as we move towards Magnet status. Use your nursing experience and education in a meaningful way by guiding the next generation of top-talent nurses!
Conduct clinical rounds. Identify the individual and collective learning needs of staff. Develop course curriculum and teach classes, incorporating research findings and using cutting-edge technology (e.g., online learning modules). Promote best clinical practices. Inspire award-winning nurses. Regularly evaluate staff competencies, and provide clinical mentorship and career guidance.
This is a Full time Days position at NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital.
Preferred Criteria
- Passion for combining innovation with eduation, and the ability to connect well with staff
- OB certification or related specialty
Required Criteria
- Master's Degree in Nursing Education
- At least 3 to 5 years of acute care experience in L&D and Mother Baby
- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
- ACLS and BCLS certifications

$135,062-$170,000/Annual
