Adjunct Instructor HV-ADJ-Nursing SP24
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university; current New York State License to practice and three years nursing service experience; previous college or hospital teaching experience. Prior experience with simulation performance exams, simulation and D2L are preferred. Previous experience and/or desire to engage in distance learning initiatives is also preferred.
DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES: This vacancy announcement is to identify qualified instructors in the field of Nursing who may be called upon to teach courses in the Nursing Program.
• Provide instruction in Nursing Courses.
• Evaluates student performance.
• Participation on departmental, division wide, and College wide committee for the purpose of building community and fulfilling aspirations of professional development is encourage and supported.
• At the direction of the Department Chairperson, faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract.
The Salary is $1,340.00 per contact hour.
