About this position
- After course content is approved by the chair/director/content expert, this position will ensure that the online classroom is populated, an instructor is attached, the syllabus is functional, file management is complete, and the course uses sound techniques to enhance learning, etc.
- Update outdated self-paced courses to the standard of other learning experiences while applying learning theories, instructional design models, and educational technologies.
- Monitor enrollments to determine if the shadow section should be opened.
- Track current self-paced offerings, textbooks, etc.
- Collaborate with the Faculty Director to monitor course updates
- Ensure accessibility of documents, online classroom, syllabus, etc.
- Produce self-paced training materials for faculty in the Faculty Academy.
- Help with technical glitches and blind spots in the technical side of program oversight.
- Master’s degree required due to teaching component.
- Previous experience with online course development, instructional design & technology required.
- Some experience as an Instructional Designer.
- Experience in higher education preferred.
- Teaching experience in the online environment is preferred.

- Ability to plan, manage, produce, direct, implement, and evaluate online course production.
- Ability to work as a team member, lead small groups, and manage projects.

- Ability to assist faculty with the integration of instructional technology.
