The Opportunity:

Are you an Instructional Designer looking to join a fast-growing company that is recognized as an industry leader, with an amazing culture that allows you to thrive?  Are you looking for the challenge of implementing an instructional approach for an entire enablement strategy?  If so, we want to hear from you!

CyberArk is the global leader in Identity Security.  Centered on privileged access management, we provide the most comprehensive security offering for any identity – human or machine – across business applications, distributed workforces, hybrid cloud workloads and throughout the DevOps lifecycle.  The world’s leading organizations trust CyberArk to help secure their most critical assets.

The Go-to-Market (GTM) Enablement team is looking for an Instructional Designer to join a small but highly collaborative team that is growing quickly.  The successful candidate will have experience designing competency frameworks, content templates and multi-modal learning programs, as well as working with enablement technology vendors.  Success in the role will be based on implementing a configurable content strategy, resulting in role-based learning plans and associated certifications.

This role reports to the Senior Director of GTM Enablement and Core Services, working within a matrixed team.  Work from US home office is available, but Boston area location is preferred.

What you will do:

  • Contribute to the overall enablement strategy, including infrastructure, organization, and content components.
  • Implement and administer a competency framework, working through a prioritized list of all GTM roles.
  • Design and maintain a modular content template that standardizes the learning experience while allowing for updating and localization.
  • Configure role-based learning plans and associated certifications, based on applying the competency framework.
  • Design and implement a basic content management strategy, using existing systems and field-based developers.
  • Develop and refine learning strategies, including engaging with vendors for content development and delivery.
  • Partner with the Global Events team for the annual Global Kick Off, and the HR department for new hire onboarding.
  • Support skill building for the CyberArk partner network, working with the Director of Partner Enablement.

What you need to succeed:

  • Ability to build relationships and influence all levels within the organization, including sales, technical presales, and customer success.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts concisely and compellingly.
  • Strong organization skills with demonstrated ability to drive a standard approach across multiple groups.
  • Creative problem-solving, able to take a hands-on approach to building enablement solutions in a fast-moving environment.
  • Demonstrated project management capability in a highly matrixed organization, including vendor contributions.
  • Relentless customer focus, with the aim of delighting customers throughout the sales process and subsequent value delivery.

How you will stand out from the crowd:

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • 5+ years of instructional design experience
  • Experience working with global teams in multiple time zones.
  • Prior experience with a fast-growth enterprise software or technology company preferred.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed - estimated 20%.

CyberArk is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected Veteran status.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 – $85,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
