Position Description

 

The Department of Management in the School of Business Administration at the University of Mississippi invites applications for three full-time Instructional Assistant Professors to teach management courses to undergraduate students starting in August, 2024. 
 

Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate is expected to teach courses in the management department (e.g., HR, Strategy, OB and Introduction to Management) or other courses as assigned by the Dean of the School of Business Administration and Chair of the Department of Management. This teaching load for this position will be 3/4 (12 credit hours in the fall and 9 credit hours in the spring), with the option to teach summer courses for additional pay subject to course and funding availability.
 

Required Qualifications: To be considered, applicants must have earned a Doctorate from an accredited college or university. Preference for applicants who have relevant professional experience related to management or consulting, prior teaching experience in management, and demonstrated familiarity with technology. Applicants must be able to demonstrate some capacity to publish in professional or academic outlets so as to maintain academic qualifications.
