Summary
The Institutional Investment Specialist supervises the portfolio and cash flow process and provides client relationship, investment, bond management and cash flow services.
Essential Functions

Supports exceptional, long lasting client relationships.
Collaborates with many different departments (sales, trading, operations, fund administration, bank funding) to serve client needs.
Assumes RM responsibilities for a segment of clients, as assigned.
Responds promptly to client inquiries and requests regarding their account(s).
Maintains client database (including CRM) regarding authorized signers, account maintenance and agendas.
Promotes and cross-sells other established products and services as appropriate to client needs.
Interviews clients to determine revenues, expenditures, cash flow status, policies, and financial objectives.
Analyzes client’s financial status, compiles data and develops timely cash flow projections based on data received from client.
Prepares and submits cash flow report to client and monitors and analyzes cash flow for reporting accuracy and effectiveness.
Contacts clients regarding maturities, cash flow review, and reinvestments.
Based on the client’s direction, accurately executes investments and posts corresponding transactions.
Manage Bond Proceeds Management (BPM) reports.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related investment sales or relationship management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred experience in Investment Management or Broker-Dealer Environment.
Licenses, Registrations and Certifications
Regulatory Licensures Required: FINRA Series 7 and 66. For senior Specialist role, an additional FINRA Series 50 will be required.
