About the Role:
Broker-Dealer Operations is the core of Halo’s transaction processing, deal closing, and client onboarding team. In this role, you will directly support these key functions through implementing established workflows and contributing to the ongoing improvement of operational efficiencies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- New institutional account onboarding and maintenance
- Book and report trades; track trades through settlement; correct issues as needed
- Ongoing interaction with internal client services team regarding account status and operations
- Transaction and order entry, processing, and support
- Onboarding and execution process documentation and maintenance
- Internal systems support, includes data maintenance and reporting
- Database management related to client and daily trade data
- Data monitoring
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- An interest in financial markets and/or fixed income products
- Comfortable interfacing with clients and solving problems with innovative solutions
- Ability to adapt and change your strategy quickly based on new information
- Experience with trade clearing software or Salesforce preferred
- Current license or expected to pass FINRA SIE and Series 7 exam within 90 days of start date.
