Purpose: To operate the palletizers and related equipment in order to palletize and properly ticket finished case goods.
DUTIES (List most difficult to perform first, etc.)
- Startup, shutdown and changeover palletizers as needed according to packaging schedules.
- Accurately enter information into the SAP computer system to print tickets for each pallet of finished case goods and maintain the Auto Labeling device.
- Operate palletizers and unjam when there is equipment failure (including AGV's) and notify caser operators if shutdown is required.
- Inform maintenance, warehouse, and packaging supervisors of any problems with equipment operation or finished case good quality.
- Keep area clean and perform duties in safe manner.
- Other duties as specified by supervisor.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous lift truck certification and experience highly desired.
Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
Willing and able to stand on a frequent basis.
Willing and able to work overtime.
Willing and able to work various shifts.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
**This is a 2nd shift position: 4 pm-12 am
Pay $25.57/hr
$1000 sign on bonus after 90 days of employment
