Join Skip-Line, Where Innovation Meets the Road!
- Seasonal travel to customer sites, including DOT facilities and private contractor locations, to install Skip-Line hardware equipment according to project specifications.
- Use basic electrical (DC) and wiring expertise to successfully install and connect hardware components.
- Collaborate with customers during the installation process, providing education and addressing any concerns to ensure an exceptional experience.
- Provide on-site training and education to customers on how to use the product after the installation.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the hardware and software, working closely with customers to provide effective solutions.
- Troubleshoot and identify issues as it relates to various mechanical and electronic systems on the equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of installations, configurations, and troubleshooting activities.
- Adhere to Skip-Line safety guidelines and protocols during installations to ensure the well-being of yourself and others on-site.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Engineering and Support, to communicate customer feedback, contribute to product improvement, and ensure a seamless integration process.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with end users, colleagues, and management to quickly resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Become an expert in pavement marking controls and educate customers on the use and benefits of Skip-Line products.
- Create and implement new processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction while reducing costs
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Relevant certifications in electrical/wiring or technical fields are desirable
- Experience with road markings equipment (e.g. paint trucks) is strongly preferred
- Must be able to work in the U.S.
- Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites as needed
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
- Fundamental DC electrical/wiring experience required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
