Job Title: Installation Technician

This role is designed for a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge and proficiency in HVAC systems and our entire product offering.
Job Summary:
As an HVAC Lead Installation Technician – Level II you will play a crucial role in supporting our installation department and our customers in need of professional HVAC installations solutions. This position requires an understanding of HVAC systems, leadership, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical information effectively to both colleagues and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
· Adherence to project timelines, specifications, and quality standards that minimize Call Backs
· Demonstrate knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation techniques.
Installation:
· Identify common themes of installation issues to management.
· Demonstrate a willingness to assimilate new/updated installation procedures
· Attend new product and existing ongoing training as needed
· Seek support from colleagues, field support and product specific Tech Support
Customer Service:
· Upon completion of installation review paperwork, collect payment and offer appropriate maintenance agreements and/or labor warranty extensions.
· Go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations and ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
Inventory Control:
· Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and facilitating procurement as needed.
· Collaborate with shop personnel to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
· Strike balance of competing priorities. Installation standards, customer satisfaction, and company profit/margin

Safety & Security:
· Demonstrate that safety and security is of utmost importance
o Personal protection – hard/bump hats, gloves, masks, proper footwear and uniform
o Valid driver’s license and commitment to obeying traffic laws
o Ability to work from a 28’ extension ladder and 12’ step ladder
§ Follow ladder safety protocol.
o Keep tools in safe working order
Qualifications and Skills:
· Valid driver’s license, EPA Universal Certification, & Proven experience (6 months) in a shop management or Lead Field Technician role in the HVAC or equivalent industry.
· General knowledge of HVAC systems, sheet metal fabrication, HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance procedures.
· Proficient computer skills, including experience with manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions
· Capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
